Es-cha
Es-cha hut: warmth in the storm
"Just before we reached the mountain hut, the bad weather caught up with us. The storm wind whistled around our ears, blizzards swept over the crags, rain pattered on our anoraks, and we were wet through immediately. Then we caught sight of the light ahead of us. Soon we were sitting in the warm room, with the wooden panelling above creaking with the heat of the stove. Soup bubbled on the hotplate. Tomorrow, the sun would be out again."
