| After about 300 metres on the road, take a left turn onto the path to Terzana (Pozzulasc). (A more strenuous variation goes up to Aurafreida.) After 1.5 hours, we reach Suracqua, a historic rotunda cooled by a flow of water. On to Weiler Festignani. A road turns into a panorama course and we descend past many look-off points to Poschiavo, with its southern ambience. The piazza with its imposing church and public buildings is like another world. Cafes tempt us with exquisite and well-earned ice-creams. The Bernina Express of the Rhätische Bahn will take us home. |
